DAY OF DAWNSTAR

HERBERT JAMES DRAPER 1906

The original name of this painting, if the art historians are to be believed, is "I didn't fall for you, you tripped me". X-ray scans of the work conducted by the Sheriff Department's forensics team show that the original painting had the young lady slipping on a banana peel and the handsome angel boy holding a large bunch in his right hand. The painting was adjusted and title changed due Herbert Draper's Gallerist at the time who had a strong aversion the fruit and thought them to be a creation of the Devil.
